Arusi joined Clackamas Mediation Center, LLC when it was founded in April of 2021. He has been a practicing associate attorney specializing in Family Law at Perkins Law, LLC, as well as a successful General Law Practice since April of 2017.  He began his legal career as both a litigator and transactional lawyer at a large Portland law firm.  He has since worked at a small Portland law firm as litigation associate, ran his own solo law practice specializing in civil litigation, and spent time as a Deputy District Attorney. His diverse background has given him the hands-on experience necessary to become a skilled negotiator in his chosen fields. His experience as a civil litigator and family law attorney has made him an expert in the legal process for both civil litigation and family law, providing him with invaluable tools and expertise for a mediator working in specialized fields. With a focus in high-asset dissolutions and high-conflict custody cases since 2017 he is well versed with complex dispute negotiation and resolution.

Arusi has attended classes from Mediate University for mediation and dispute resolution training.  He has been a member in good standing of the Oregon State Bar since 2003 and Washington State Bar since 2011 and is a current member of the Multnomah and Clackamas County Bar Associations.  He has been regularly selected through the Multnomah County mandatory arbitration program as a court appointed arbitrator.  Arusi has participated in the Multnomah County and Clackamas County child attorney programs representing children.  As a previous associate at multiple firms, he developed a focus and extensive knowledgebase in civil litigation.  As a practicing attorney at Perkins Law, LLC he has developed a focus and extensive knowledgebase in the family law field.  He attends continuing education courses through statewide seminars and classes.

Arusi has been a volunteer coach for his three sons’ athletic teams.  Arusi has formerly been involved on the board of the Greater Oregon March of Dimes, a national non-profit organization and has been involved previously with the Lake Oswego Rotary Club.
